Blue Wave Candidate Forum on Monday, 7/30 at 6 p.m.

Walt Maddox, Tuscaloosa Mayor and candidate for Governor, will headline a “Big 10” Blue Wave Candidate Forum on Monday, July 30th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Gardendale Civic Center (857 Main St., Gardendale, AL 35071).

In addition to Mayor Maddox, speakers will include: Danner Kline (candidate for U.S. House of Representatives, 6th District); Will Boyd (candidate for Alabama Lieutenant Governor); Joe Siegelman (candidate for Alabama Attorney General); Heather Milam (candidate for Alabama Secretary of State); Veronica R. Johnson (candidate for Alabama House District 51, including Gardendale, Morris, Mt. Olive, Kimberly, Trafford, parts of Pinson and Center Point); Judge Bob Vance (candidate for Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court); Cara McClure (candidate for Public Service Commission, Place 1) Kari Powell (candidate for Public Service Commission, Place 2); and Danny Carr (candidate for Jefferson County District Attorney). Vote! Primary Run-off Election on July 17th

We are less than a week away from both the Alabama Democratic and Republican primary runoff elections on Tuesday, July 17th. Jefferson County will have seven races on the ballot for the Democratic run-off including four county-wide races for Sheriff, District Judge Place 3, District Judge Place 9, and Circuit Clerk.

Additionally, there are three district specific run-offs for Alabama House District 54, County Commission Place 1 and County Commission Place 2. Please click here for more information on your specific voting information.
