Reproductive Health on the Ballot Zoom

This may be the most important conversation we have before the election. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, September 17th at 12 p.m. for the Zoom: REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH ON THE BALLOT. We offer an amazing lineup of Alabama speakers – healthcare professionals, legal advocates, politicians and activists. They will address current reproductive health issues, plus what is planned in the right-wing blueprint for presidential transition, “Project 2025.”

Note: This Noon Zoom will run until 1:15 or 1:30 p.m. Space may be limited!

Please register here in advance for the Zoom.

Flip the Vote with HIVE!

We suspect that like us, you are concerned about the future of our country given the choices presented to us in the 2024 election.

With so much at stake, we want any political donations we make to help to elect people who share our values. Perhaps you feel the same way.

Are you unsure how to support vital elections in swing states? We were, but not anymore thanks to Flip the Vote!

With several friends, we are hosting two opportunities for you to join us, either virtually on Sunday, September 15th at 2 p.m., or in person on Thursday, September 19th at 5:30 p.m. at Hi Wire Brewing. We would LOVE to see you.

This is an event for everyone – NOT just for big dollar donors. Just come and join like minded people, and if you’re inspired to financially support the work of Flip the Vote, all the better.

What is Flip the Vote?

Flip the Vote is a grassroots organization founded in 2018 by a group of concerned S.F. Bay Area folks who wanted to identify the best place to invest our limited financial resources in the states where it matters most.

Flip the Vote does meticulous research to identify the smartest way for Democrats (and unaffiliated progressives as well as disaffected Republicans) to channel our political resources by:

  • Investing early in effective grassroots voter-engagement groups in the most critical, must-win states
  • Identifying grassroots groups, mainly led and staffed by people of color, that work year-round inspiring voters who can make a difference up and down the ballot
  • Focusing on geographic areas and strategic partners where early investment will make an outsized impact in critical 2023 and 2024 elections

Read more about the rationale behind their strategy here. Details about the impact Flip the Vote had on the 2022 election can be found here. It’s impressive!
